Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without error and is the authority upon which we base our faith, our conduct, and our doctrine.

We believe in one God, Who exists eternally in three distinct persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on this earth, then shed His blood and died on the cross by crucifixion to redeem mankind from his sin-debt.

We believe that Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to the Father in Heaven, sat down at His right hand to intercede on our behalf, and that He is coming again.

We believe the only hope of salvation is through repentance from sin, and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross not only provides healing of our spirit, but also of our physical bodies through “believing prayer”.

We believe the “baptism of the Holy Spirit”, according to Acts 2:4, is given to all who ask.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables believers to live a life that is pleasing to the Father.

We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus and a testimony of our faith in Him.

We believe in the regular taking of communion as an act of remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross.

We believe that every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obedience to the Word of God, yielding to the Holy Spirit, and being conformed to the image of Christ.
